Hi, my name is Jessica and I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. I have had extensive experience working in a Non-Government Organisation, the education system and the public health sector for over 15 years with all ages across the lifespan.
I am committed to supporting people to live the life they want to live and to thrive not just survive. I believe the most important aspect of therapy is having a positive working relationship between therapist and client. I am driven by social work values, including service to humanity, social justice, dignity and worth of the individual, importance of human relationships, integrity and competence. These are not just my professional values; I embody them in all aspects of her life.

Circle of Security Parenting
There are seven emotional needs that children are asking adults to meet. Watch over me, delight in me, help me, enjoy with me, protect me, comfort me and organise my feelings.
This is a program that focuses on supporting and strengthening parent-child relationships by guiding parents/caregivers through positive ways to respond to their children’s behaviour.
Mentalisation Based Therapy
Mentalisation is the ability to understand others and one’s own mental states. Our own mental states are influenced by our beliefs and determine how we feel, act and respond to the world around us. Mentalising helps to make sense of our thoughts and feelings and to link these to our actions and behaviours. The main goals of MBT are to improve mentalisation and learn emotional regulation.
Clinical Supervision
I have a passion for Clinical Supervision. I love sharing my knowledge and skills with supervisees and I love learning from them. I have supervised experienced practitioners and also new graduates in Child and Youth Mental Health and Adult Mental Health.
